- We don't sell your data or open it up to advertising networks.
- You can take the tests without an account too. Your answers are sent to the server for the calculation; your guest report is stored in your browser.
- Your report is private by default; every share needs separate consent.
- You can start deleting your account from the account screen, with a two-step confirmation.
Scope
This policy explains how the personal data you share while using Miraland is processed. Each section answers a single question.
If you try it without an account
You can take the tests without creating an account. Your answers are sent to the server to calculate your result; no permanent report record is created until you create an account. Your guest results are stored in the browser you use.
If you clear your browser data, or if a week passes after your last save, you can no longer reach your guest report. To keep your report, you can save it to your account. If you don't have an account, you can create one for free.
Data we collect
When you create an account, we only ask for what the service needs to work:
- Information you give us — how we should address you and your email address for signing in.
- Birth details — if you choose the birth chart: date, time and place of birth.
- Your test answers — to calculate your scores.
- Invitation records — whom you invited and the status of the invitation.
We don't collect data about you from other sources, and we don't match your profile with advertising networks.
How we use your data
We use your data to prepare your reports, to calculate your compatibility with the people you've given consent for, and to improve the service with anonymous aggregate statistics.
Your answers aren't passed to third parties without your explicit permission and aren't used to train AI models.
Sharing and consent
At first, your report is visible only to you. Accepting an invitation doesn't mean sharing your report. Sharing a report and taking part in compatibility analysis are kept as separate choices.
Compatibility is calculated on the server. The other person's test answers and detailed measurement values aren't sent to your device. You can see the shared compatibility result and the report sections you've been given permission to see.
Retention and deletion
If you've created an account, we keep your data for as long as your account is open. When you delete your account, your answers, reports and invitations are deleted permanently; removal from backups takes at most 30 days.
Before deleting, you can download a copy of your data from Settings › My data.
Your rights
Under KVKK (Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law) and similar regulations, you can always ask to:
- access your data and get a copy of it,
- correct inaccurate data,
- delete your data and object to its processing,
- move your data to another service.
To download a copy of your personal data, you can use Settings › My data. The file is prepared in JSON format. If you want to delete your account, you can go to your account settings from the same screen.
Raw norm, percentile and sten values and the presentation records of test questions aren't added to the file. The reasons are explained in the file itself. Your report results appear in the form they're shown to you in the app. For requests about this information too, you can use the contact form; we reply within 30 days at the latest.
Cookies
We use browser storage to remember your session, your theme preference and your information in the guest flow. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
Changes
If we update the policy, we publish the new version on this page together with its effective date. For important changes, you're also informed in the app.
